In class I work on the development of the singing voice through body awarenessapplying the Feldenkrais Methodand voice techniques from the worlds of classical, jazz and contemporary music. Aural awareness is improved through ear exercises singing. Techniques for performance practice and dealing with performance anxiety are addressed. Teaching requires time and effort but it also needs to be fun, therefore my lessons have both components, while setting up short and long term goals we explore music in fun ways that allows for self expression and we stay focused by having a clear goal for every lesson. We will keep a journal where we will be recording our achievements, homeworks and general progress. It is most important to be unique, and to find your own sound, your own voice. I started singing professionally when I was 12 years old. My style eventually evolved to what it is today. After various performing opportunities in high school, I started my journey to become a music educator at the University of Miami in 2007. My participation in choral and theatre ensembles has taken me around the world practicing my passion and mastering my craft. I currently produce classical music concerts in addition to teaching private lessons. Throughout my singing career, I have had the opportunity to perform at Carnegie Hall and Geffen Hall in New York, the Kimmel Center for Performing Arts in Philadelphia, the Adrienne Arsht Center in Miami, and various locations throughout the United States, the United Kingdom, Russia, Ecuador, and Spain.
