Effective music education is both developmentally and culturally appropriate: By working with the student to understand their interests, I hope to provide them with an experience that will enrich their musical and social life outside of the work we do together. The Suzuki curriculum is also popular across many music programs in New York, so it provides beginning violinists an opportunity to play music with their peers. I am a fun and easy-going instructor and I love working with people. In 2015, I graduated from SUNY Fredonia with a Bachelor of Music degree in Viola Performances. Asides from viola, I also play piano and drums at local churches. I currently teach at Edward R. Murrow High School, so I commute between Brooklyn and Queens and am willing to teach in both areas.
