I do not stick to one method or style of teaching as each student is different. A twelve-year-old student who wants to write songs, and sing Taylor Swift, will need a very different approach than a fifty-year-old opera singer. However, I do implement two very important key points in my teaching: Honesty and health. This is done by first making sure the artist (I prefer to refer to my students as artists as a sign of respect, and because I’m learning from them as well) has proper technique. Read More

My approach is to help the student find their voice, through learning technique, ear training, and theory in different styles of music. I strive to make sure the student feels comfortable and effortless on their instrument, so they can feel confident and limitless. Why Learn Music? Learning music helps improve: • Confidence • Creativity • Time management Skills • Memory • Patience • Sense of Achievement • Stress Relief • Social Life • Most importantly it’s Fun! I teach multiple styles from Classical, to Bluegrass, to Jazz or Pop learn the style that you listen to the most! Read More

My teaching style is to keep things fun and stress free. I really like to listen to what the student wants to get out of the lessons. Some might be more interested in theory and technique while other's goals might be more interested in learning songs to get out and play. I also like to introduce students to new things that can help in advancing their skills and knowledge. Each student is an individual and advances at their own pace. Read More

I have been teaching for the last 6 years, from 4 years old to 60, in private schools and private lessons, workshops for companies with the companie “Música para todos”, and more. I love teaching because I like to use my experience to help others to develope them talent and over come them fears. In the first voice lesson I try to learn everything I can about the student, and I create a personal curriculum, focusing on the things that he needs to improve, technique, stage presence, scenic fear and microphone technique. It is so important for my students to know that I am here to help them and that they have their own individual path. It is not about improving quickly but really understanding and loving what they are doing. I try to find ways to inspire my students so that the whole lesson is productive and fun. I love sharing my love for music and inspiring my students to know the power that music holds. Read More
Instruments: Piano Music Keyboard
I have always enjoyed teaching private lessons because it allows me to tailor the lesson to the individual students needs. This is not always possible in a classroom situation. I am patient with my students but I expect my students to practice four to five days a week. My goal is to get the students to enjoy the process of learning new music. I realize that my students will not take piano lessons forever so my hope is to get them to enjoy the process of learning new things in general. Read More
