Berklee has always been a dream of mine. I studied Music Therapy at Berklee College of Music in 2015. I worked with children and adults with developmental disabilities and mental health. I had been an ardent member of the Berklee Indian Ensemble. I worked with various artists such as Vijay Prakash, Raghu Dixit, Indian Ocean and Shreya Ghoshal. I also went on a tour with them once. I earned a Bachelor Music Education degree from Berklee College of Music and subsequently served as professor and Assistant Chair of the Voice Department during the final 10 years of my tenure there. I'm currently offering private instruction in contemporary singing, scat improvisation and my "instru-vocal" approach to trap set drumming. While still in college, I was a music tutor at North Star in Hadley For two years. I worked one-on-one with students in middle school on both voice and guitar. During my time there, I taught kids anything from different chords on the guitar, to breath support and passion in one's singing, to vocal improvisation and stage confidence. She received her BA in music composition and music theory from Seoul National University, her masters from Northwestern University in IL and her PhD in Musicology from the College of Music at Seoul National University.
