Each student interested in expanding their knowledge and abilities in voice, piano/keyboard or guitar will be introduced to reading music and asked to practice the lesson plan each week at home. With practice, you will see your abilities grow stronger and stronger, and you will be able to play and sing along to music with ease. I say this because often times we make crazy sounds and do strange exercises in the learning process, but I promise it pays offplus, Ill do the weird with you! Regardless of what you need help with, we will build on where youre currently at and find specified ways to work on your needs. Its so important to remember that we only have a limited time together - so my goal is to give you the tools and get you feeling comfortable to follow through with the techniques to work on them in your own time (in between our lessons). In 1984 I was a music instructor for the Canadian Forces School of Music in Esquimalt British Columbia. Over the last three decades I have taught one-on-one lessons and ensembles at all levels including Elementary, Middle, and High School levels.
