After college, I lived in New York City for 5 years and then Los Angeles for 5 years, while teaching voice and working as a professional singer. I have recently moved back home to South Jersey and can't wait to continue my passion for teaching voice. Hi there! I'm Dejah, a recording and performing artist in Philadelphia. I graduated from Philadelphia's High School for the Creative and Performing Arts' Vocal Department in 2016. I also attended Montgomery County Community College for Sound Recording and Music Technology for a year and a half before I decided to go on a hiatus. I've been working with children long before I chose my major and started college. Singing was always a big part of my "play". I studied elementary education but even when I was in the general classroom I used music. I enjoyed making up songs to help different skills and ideas stick.
