I am a music teacher who is very passionate about imparting knowledge and sharing music with my students. I have been teaching music theory, solfeggio, voice, counterpoint and choral conducting. I graduated with three degrees in music, namely Bachelor of Music in Music Education, Bachelor of Music in Voice, Bachelor of Music in Conducting. I am a New York City based songwriter, artist, arranger, producer, and educator, most often occupying the space between R&B and Jazz. My music is influenced by artists ranging from Stevie Wonder to Erykah Badu to John Coltrane. I went to Boston in 2015 to study Musical Theatre at the Boston Conservatory. The study of vocal production, articulation, semantics, and syntax follows a logical, developmental progression that allows the artist finally to let go of technique and focus on the pragmatics of communication: identifying objectives, impulsively choosing tactics based on moment-to-moment sensory experience, and effectively acting in relationship with others. I value student diversity and I am particularly sensitive to issues of voice and identity. Since 2007, I've documented various events, such as an international summer course for music and dance educators in Czech Republic, a children's English language and Art camp in Ibiza Spain, and a national archery competition in Austria. I teach out of instructional books, notably books by Hal Leonard, Mel Bay, and Alfred. Sometimes, I use sheet music print outs, or draft up my own exercises.  I go back in forth in a non-conventional manner, adapting accordingly to the student's needs.  I like to incorporate exercises and warm ups to improve and enchance technique.  I also teach songs that the student would like to learn.  I'm very patient and rarely rigid in my approach, although I do stick to a general routine that allows a focused approach to learning.
