Depending on the student's age, level and preference of genre, I pick out books suitable for each student, and also ask the student to bring in a piece or book they would like to work on. I'm a recent graduate of Syracuse University, with a Bachelor of Music degree in Music Industry. I have played both the violin and piano since the age of four. Some of the greatest memories I have can be attributed to my experiences in music. In high school, I was able to tour Germany, the Czech Republic, and Austria with my school's symphony orchestra. Pieces of music are normally chosen from a huge selections of violin literature or from Suzuki books. Students show very good progress in a short period of time, and they are very soon able to produce beautiful sounds from their instruments, accurate intonation, strong vibrato, correct rhythm, and great musicality. They develop a positive attitude towards the acquisition of the art of violin playing, and look at the learning process as a fun experience, especially when they are exposed to a new piece of music, whether it is a simple song such as Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star or  a major composition such as the violin concerto by Beethoven or Wieniawski. Moreover I was CKYOs concerto competition winner and soloist in the years of 2003 and 2008. I began college at the University of Kentucky, receiving a full scholarship for music. I had many great opportunities with the UK Symphonic Orchestra including performances at the Kennedy Center in DC, Carnegie Hall in New York City, and alongside world renowned violinists Gil Shaham, Sarah Chang, and Itzhak Perlman.
