My teaching is heavily influenced with my background and experience with the Suzuki method, particularly pertaining to listening, repetition, and immersion. Music is something to practice as if learning another language, as it is another form of expression! Although I use Suzuki books and repertoire in my lessons, I structure and customize lessons plans, tailoring to each individual student. I also volunteer taught students from low-income families through the Azusa Pacific Conservatory for two years. In the summers of 2010 and 2011, I took over a former teacher's studio of 20+ students while he toured in Europe.
