I became the Concert Mistress of the UCSD Chamber Orchestra and look forward to continuing my education for Music Performance, Music Education, and Psychology. In my music career, I've formed duets, trios, and quartets, to volunteer and perform at weddings, funerals, nursing homes, and other private events. I also am a part of an indie rock/bluegrass band called the County Fair, playing the fiddle. Vocal students are encouraged to pick songs from whatever genre sparks their interest.  With violin and viola I use the suzuki method of training and follow the books and lessons, and I use other books to supplement scales/technique.  If a student already has musical literature I am very open to using that to build a specific curriculum for that student. I began teaching private lessons in college as a side job, but due to touring with orchestras I was unable to truly develop my own studio. I also volunteer taught students from low-income families through the Azusa Pacific Conservatory for two years. In the summers of 2010 and 2011, I took over a former teacher's studio of 20+ students while he toured in Europe. I'm a recent graduate of Syracuse University, with a Bachelor of Music degree in Music Industry. I have played both the violin and piano since the age of four. Some of the greatest memories I have can be attributed to my experiences in music. In high school, I was able to tour Germany, the Czech Republic, and Austria with my school's symphony orchestra.
