My teaching experience dates back to my college days, as I began teaching private lessons part time 4 years ago, and have been consistently teaching students in my home studio for the last 2 years. Encouraging regular practice on a consistent schedule is one of the key points I like to emphasize for younger students, as it tends to help the student progress and gain a passion for the instrument. I like to have a consistent plan for all of my lessons, so that students know what to expect, as well as the best methods for practicing. I always start my students off with a warm-up consisting of scales or a technical exercise that relates to the piece that we are working on. I then go over the "trouble spots" of a piece with the student before diving into longer sections. Read More

Ms. Jiuri is currently a violin instructor at the Key notes school of Music, Yamaha Music school of Boston and Maestro Musicians Academy. She has recently found that teaching young children gives her great joy, especially dealing when with the complexities of personalities as they arise and the challenge of motivating and molding young minds. I really focus on offering differentiated instruction and understand the importance of being able to adapt student to student. I typically do break our sessions up into focused segments in my lesson plans. I ensure that we cover music theory, rhythm exercises, improvising, and more. My range provided me with the ability to read nearly any piece of music on sight, an ability I eventually took the oceans as a Pianist for Norwegian and Royal Caribbean. I performed with guest entertainers, in Jazz sets and in Production shows in over 24 countries. Since Covid it has been my great pleasure to return to New England, receive Expert Residency in Teaching K-12 and begin studying Production for Sync Licensing and Production. Read More
