My teaching started in the final years of high-school. I started teaching trumpet to kids. Once I started college in Buenos Aires(Argentina) in a music composition degree I worked with several masters in a multitude of instruments(violin, flute, trumpet, guitar) which i was able to start teaching and performing live. At the same time I developed a craving for movement practice and martial arts. I encourage this by setting realistic goals for my students at each lesson. Acknowledging accomplishments helps fuel a students desire to progress, and makes students eager to learn more. Every student requires a uniquely tailored teaching style, but also they possess a unique set of strengths and "weaknesses" that will be addressed. I do not believe in the "cookie-cutter" approach to teaching. I believe that fundamentals (scales, tuning exercises, lip slurs, technical excecises) are important as these are the key to unlocking the instrument as a means of self-expression, by eliminitating the infamilarity and oddness of the trombone. That being said, I believe that technique should be approached in the most musical way possible, and I strive to teach technique through actual music.  My teachers, as were most successful brass players, were influenced by the legendary tubist of the Chicago Symphony, Arnold Jacobs. I am from Brazil and in 2014 I graduated from Sao Paulo University with a bachelor in music education. In addition, I studied trumpet at Sao Paulo Municipal Conservatory from 2015 to the end of 2017. Recently, I got approved as a graduate student in performance at Florida Atlantic University. I was trumpet lead in the symphonic band of the Sao Paulo Municipal Conservatory, and I did participations in various musical groups like Young Symphonic Band From Sao Paulo State, Guarulhos Young Orchestra, Orchestra USP Philharmonic, and also I was trumpet player in a female HipHop band form 2014 to 2017. Thos ,ethod help to train ears while teaching proper posture and technique, which leads to correct concentration and reflection. During my lessons I always demonstrate my playing.
