I am currently working towards my master's in saxophone performance at the Hartt School of Music, so I am relatively new to the greater Hartford area. Encouraging regular practice on a consistent schedule is one of the key points I like to emphasize for student, as it tends to help the student progress and gain a passion for the instrument. I begin my students with the fundamentals of music and the instrument. As we expand our musical knowledge, we also broaden our understanding of technique, because I strongly believe that every musician, no matter the genre they ultimately play, needs a strong foundation of musical knowledge and technical proficiency on the instrument. All the while I take into consideration what style the student is interested in. I then went onto the University of Bridgeport where in 2013 I received my Bachelors of Music with a focus on Education. During my time studying music I have learned countless instruments, methods, producing, reocridng, studio work, and more. I have played with multiple bands over 100 shows, in multiple states as well as composing for Jingles, Television, Film, The internet and Video Games.
