Once the student has progressed to have a grasp of the fundamentals, I will begin to introduce solo repertoire appropriate for their first recital performance. I'm a Music Teacher/Vocal Coach in the Connecticut area where I began singing and playing the piano at the age of nine from various teachers throughout the area including the Neighborhood Music School and the Educational Center for the Arts. In 1992 I obtained a Bachelors in Music Education from Berklee College of Music and a M.F.A from Liberty University in Music and Worship. For students who are just beginning the instrument, I like to include the Rubank Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced Method Books for Saxophone as well as the Selected Duets both by H. Voxman.
