My passion for teaching began in my Junior year of high school in 2011-2012, when I spent 6 months teaching guitar lessons to elementary school students at a local YMCA after-school program. With a class size of approximately 10-15 students, I learned many valuable teaching methods for students of all backgrounds and learning methods. Later that year, I said goodbye to my students to move to Boston and attend Berklee College of Music, however, in summer of 2014, I revived my passion for teaching when I started a saxophone lesson program at Brighton's All 'Bout Christ church. I have been my musical journey on clarinet in the second grade, and I have stuck with it ever since! I then picked up tenor saxophone to play in the jazz big band, and I began my piano journey at the end of high school to diversify my musical knowledge! I have gained a lot of experience playing in the professional music world through playing at Westfield State! From playing in WSU's symphony, to creating my own chamber ensemble, to playing in the jazz big band, to playing in a pit orchestra and even dabbling in chorus and chamber choir, I like to be as musically versatile and explorative as I can! I've been teaching private lessons for 2 years; first starting with a few students from the college. Recently have sung with RICCO (performing works such as Carmina Burana). I have been in many shows, such as Into the Woods (Cinderella's Prince), Brundebar (the baker), HMS Pinafore (Captain Cochran), and Gatsby (Nick Carraway).
