In 2012, I graduated from Ithaca College with Bachelor of Music degrees in Music Composition and Music Theory. I spent the past year teaching composition, choral directing, and accompanying undergraduate performance majors at a study abroad institute in Vienna, Austria. For beginning students who are children, I typically start with Alfred's Prep Course Level A which provides strong basic skills in all relevant areas; such as, note reading, rhythm, piano theory etc. I normally advice students to follow Alfred's recommended steps until they reach Level 2. I graduated from Khmelnitsky College of music with a focus in button accordion and piano, and I have earned my master degree from Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Kiev, Ukraine, the same institution that educated noted pianist Vladimir Horowitz and many other renowned performers, composers and educators. I performed with the Veriovka Choir, an award-winning orchestra that tours internationally to share the joy of music with audiences worldwide.
