I am a caring and passionate instructor who loves working with young students and help them find joy and peace through music. I have been studying piano since I was five years old and have been teaching for 4 years. My specialty is classical pieces and my favourite composer is Chopin. I also graduated from law school in Thailand in 2012. I just recently graduated Master Degree of Law from Harvard Law School.
I have been teaching piano since 2010. I started teaching part-time on weekends at the best music academy in Thailand called "KPN Music Academy" having more than 50 branches nationwide. After I graduated from law school in Thailand, I started teaching 2 branches of KPN and I also provided private lessons to students at home. Overall, I taught over 30 kids and among them achieved successful results from Trinity College London Piano Examination (at least pass with merits).
For beginning students who are children, I typically start with Alfred's Prep Course Level A which provides strong basic skills in all relevant areas; such as, note reading, rhythm, piano theory etc. I normally advice students to follow Alfred's recommended steps until they reach Level 2. Then, in preparation for basic and more advanced classical pieces, I will introduce students with fingers practice "Hanon" and other fun yet effective program.
Nothing is more rewarding than seeing one of my students develop passion and love for music. Therefore, it is important to let the students progress at their own paces with supervision and slight push. I encourage this by not only setting realistic goals for my students at each lesson and making sure we achieve that, but also by adding, from time to time, interesting notes about the history of music or composer's biography to captivate the students' imagination. I also use music to help student who might have a problem with focus and the results are amazing as all of my children improve their ability to focus and it helps them study better not only in music but at their schools as well.
