I graduated from Rutgers University in 2012 with a bachelors in Psychology and Theater Arts, and spent much of my time performing on stage in musicals and plays. My first experience teaching in a professional setting was at the Royal Academy of Music in Shrewsbury Massachusetts while taking some time off from college. Some students like more folk music, other prefer classical forms or blues structures. Some students enjoy hearing about the evolution of different composers and their particular genres, while others wish to focus only on the music produced by one niche.
