I have utilized Faber and Faber Methods for  Piano, Let's Play Jazz and More,J. Latulippe, Hannon Revisited, because I have discovered these methods to be comprehensive. I cater my teaching style to each student's age, skill level and personality. I have a patient, relaxed teaching style but I'm always ready and willing to push the student as far as they want to go, encouraging them to try their best. Lessons are usually organized into a section focused on technique and music theory followed by a period dedicated to playing songs together, polishing up repertoire and focusing on playing music in real time, together as an ensemble. For beginning students, I typically start with Hanon exercises to improve manual strength and dexterity. At the same time, these exercises can help students to learn to sightread, and I will give an additional lecture on musical notation with written material for reference at no charge if necessary. I have been teaching piano since 2010. I started teaching part-time on weekends at the best music academy in Thailand called "KPN Music Academy" having more than 50 branches nationwide. After I graduated from law school in Thailand, I started teaching 2 branches of KPN and I also provided private lessons to students at home. I have over 12 years teaching experience both piano and voice to students of all levels and ages. When I work with a student, my first goal is to establish a positive, open dialogue where students feel comfortable asking questions, trying new techniques or styles, and stepping outside of their comfort zone. From there, I prioritize developing a healthy technique in both singing and playing piano, emphasize musical literacy where we regularly work on reading notes on a modern staff notation (with all the accompanying vocabulary), and explore a wide range of repertoire that speaks to the student.
