I am a musician, performer, and educator located in the Los Angeles area, in Pasadena. I recevied my MA in Music in 2013, concentraing in jazz. For more advanced students, I place more of an emphasis on the fundamentals of the instrument specifically developing a warm, beautiful sound and establishing a vast technical facility. While they are learning from that certain method I do encourage students to tell me what songs they enjoy listening to and we will choose easy versions of the song that keeps them motivated and excited.
