. I really desire the child to enjoy lessons. I like to build their confidence that they are achieving. I'm strict in how I teach the language of music. I don't half way teach and desire my students to be able to sight read music and understand timing. If i have a student that doesn't understand I explain in in math and they have all understood how important timing is. From elementary school through college I performed on flute, including as a soloist, in bands and orchestras; and as an adult I'm continuing that.
