Beginning students who are children are introduced to the joy of music not just by singing songs, but in a course that teaches music literacy, vocal technique, and ear training as well. Most importantly, we are having fun while taking this journey. As for older teens and adults, I discover what interests the student and guide my instruction accordingly. My training in piano started from when I was 5 years old. Since then, I continuously took piano lesson and have had performed on the stage as well. I continued my training in piano at the University of Hartford under David Westfall, Paul Rutman, Susan Cheng and Grace Smith. From Manhattan School of Music, I studied composition/theory with Richard Danielpour and Reiko Fueting, and piano with Lisa Yui. I am very focused when teaching but I try not to bore the student with repetitive exercises, varying the material constantly, depending on the student. Some students are more focused than others and they're able to endure greater amounts of effort into a single task.
