We further move on to the Intermediate and Advanced methods while also adding solo repertoire that is suitable to their skill level.  I implement materials of my own design mixed with songs of the students choosong and tastes, and typically have them up and playing a song or two that they like in a couple of lessons.  All ages, styles, and expereince levels are welcome. For reading,  I like to use a combination of notation, tabs and chord diagrams.  And while I dont absolutely insist that the student learn to read notation, I do strongly encourage it. Read More

Hi! My name is Emily and I am a flute performance major at the Cincinnati Conservatory. I am a motivated player and love to share passion of music with others! I have had 3 years of prior experience in teaching and have taught several students in both the Indianapolis and Cincinnati area. By taking private lessons with me, students will learn proper tone production, fingering, and breath control on flute.
