Over the past decade I have performed with world-renowned performers and conductors all over the world. I have performed recital, chamber, concerto, and orchestral repertoire. At Indiana University I performed solo recitals, concertos, chamber music, and in orchestra. From 2011 to 2014, I was a Juilliard Pre-College mentor. It was my job to offer support and advice to students in orchestra and brass quintet rehearsals. At Yale, I became a Teaching Artist in 2015 and gave private lessons to Yale Undergraduate students. As a Yale Teaching Artist, I also worked for the Music in Schools Initiative, teaching classes, sectionals, and private lessons to students in public schools in the greater New Haven area. Read More

I tend to use the Suzuki Method for my students. I find that it helps create a solid foundation for the student and includes repertoire that is familiar to many. In addition to the Suzuki Method, I like to use etude books, duet books, and sight-reading books for those who are learning how to read music. I also like to incorporate Music Theory for all ages to gain more knowledge of how music works. Read More

When I think of music, I always think of the quote: "Where words fail, music speaks," by Hans Christian Anderson.  When I am teaching, nothing means more to me than seeing one of my students who was shy and not confident with themselves grow into a confident and enthusiastic person, both with music and in their life. I am a graduate student of the New York University Steinhardt School, received my Masters in Piano Performance and Advanced Certificate of Piano Performance and Piano Pedagogy in 2017 and was an adjunct faculty at NYU as well for piano and keyboard classes.
