I started on my journey when I was 18. I had been singing for several years in a Black Sabbath cover band , and I had developed vocal nodules. Back then, surgery was suggested, and so surgery I had. The methods used in my trumpet studio focus solely on the fundamentals of playing trumpet. For all ages, there is a focus on building breath support, dexterity, and range. For the intermediate and advanced players, there is a focus on transpositions, sight-reading, dexterity, and learning standard trumpet repertoire. All of my lessons are tailored around the student and adhere to the New York State Standards for Music.
