I have been teaching guitar since 2015. I taught guitar lessons at the Family Melody Center in Patchogue, NY for 5 years. From there I went on to teach privately in my own home studio. I can also come to you as well. All my students learn to read standard notation as well as tabs. I teach rock, blues, country, pop, but my specialty is classical guitar. My teaching experiences go back at least 15 years.  I started when I was in college and have never stopped teaching.  In my lessons I focus on the whole child.  Together we find out where their strengths lie and capitalize on those strengths.  Music is supposed to be fun and that is one of my goals is to keep it fun and exciting for the student.  I find it is best to expose the student to all types of music new and old and everything from classical to hip hop. I volunteered at my arts high school for 2 years helping with all of the Jazz Band, AP Music Theory, and private instruction in multiple instruments. In 2009 I graduated from Cooperative Arts & Humanities Magnet High School focusing in Music.
