I am never aggressive with my students. I believe in pushing them to the next level but never through negativity. He has periodically performed solo piano concerts of his own piano arrangements and he regularly plays solo keyboard/piano music at private functions. In addition, he created and performed music shows for elementary age children. My aspirations as a violin instructor are to enable students to identify, understand, and assess challenges they contend to search for possible solutions. I am a proponent of self-directed learning, and intentionally create situations in class that allow the students to learn through the unconventional approach. I started teaching in 2006 in Bulgaria and since then have had teaching assistantships at Temple and Penn State Universities where I have worked with very diverse group of students with varying experience, backgrounds and age. At Temple I have worked with beginner kids at their Community Scholars program while at Penn State I worked with more advanced non majors and undergrad performance majors.
