All students are assessed in reading music abilities as well as playing ability. Beginners are taken through a friendly course of learning about the instrument. For Classical Guitar I use Segovia Scales, Carulli Preludes, Sagreras, Guiliani Right Hand Studies, my own material from my book and some great compilation books to span the various genres of Classical Music to include the Renaissance Period, Baroque Period and Classic Period. My teaching experience began in 2009 when I played in a marching band of concourse in Brazil. After one year as a trumpet player the conductor ask me to teach the beginner students. I taught there about two years and I am proud to say that two of my students followed the music career, and one of them is getting graduate at Sao Paulo University in music education.
