My initial lessons for all ages and levels begin with discussing expectations, motivations, and past experiences with music. Lessons should feel engaging fun, and productive. New players will learn fun ways to read music, feet positions, and hand exercises. Once a foundation is established, we'll learn more advanced skills and solo material. In the first lessons, I explain the the beginner students the basic functionality of the instruments, the proper way to hold the instruments, how to produce a clear sound from the instruments and a Major scale ascending and descending, the one from which the first lessons or the next lessons is written. i like to do a lot of exercises at the beginning of the class at least 15 minutes the we start whit the songs in the singing classes , for the instruments i like to do some exercises an the work on the technical books the with songs that the student like to play and also some recommend, i love to given rewards like compliments or another song that they love to practice that give motivation for the student. i like to give them homework or something to study at home , because more practice faster learning.
