I have taught private flute intermittently for the past 25 years, usually traveling to students' homes. I teach classical music as a foundation, while incorporating other types of music to keep it fun and interesting for the student. Many of my students have performed in recitals which I have organized, as well as in other performances that demand hard work and personal accomplishment. He gave me my first guitar at age 12 and started to show me chords and patterns to play. But it was when I first heard led Zepplin's black dog opening riff that I knew I wanted to rock.
