I have been teaching students since 1999 privately as well as with small groups of people. I'm very passionate about transmitting my experiences to every single student and encouraging them to achieve their goals with the best attitude. I’ve recorded, toured, and played with: Edisun – (FOF-EMI), Dive (Phase One – Red Sony), Ana Free (Warner Singapore), 202 (Pop Art – Sony/BMG), Panza (Ultrapop), and many others. I’m currently on tour with Diego Garcia (Elefant) about to promote his upcoming album “Paradise” playing all over the US, Canada, Mexico, South America & Europe. Read More

For BEGINNING students, I teach piano but also theory as well. In order to play the piano accurately, the student must know theory. I teach using James Bastien's primary-level 4 books. Within those books, they offer a Piano book, Theory book, Performance book, and a Technic book. Depending on the child's level and ability to play, I will incorporate what I see is the best book to use for each individual student. Read More

I stress the basics: scales, arpeggios and chords for piano and scales and double stops for violin. In regard to the piano, I have students practice each hand alone before combining them. Generally two pieces are assigned for students to work on and that work is continued for several weeks. I emphasize sight reading and rhythm. These are two aspects of music that are difficult for many. In regard to reading, the names and purposes of the various signs and symbols must be learned. Read More

My teaching experience started while finishing my second program in college in 2016. With a career planned, I was ready to start sharing the ways of the fretboard to my students. With that, comes something thats most important, dedication. With dedication, you start a practice strategy, whether you want to memorize all the 12 major scales in all five CAGED patterns, or learn Hendrix's "Purple Haze" there must be dedication. Setting goals is very important to learning music, or your instrument, achieving is when you've finally reached what you've strived for, and challenge is when you take your goal and add some "spice" to it, whether it's playing faster, or learning the modes of the major scale. Seeing my students enjoy and grow in their passion for music is the most rewarding part in my teaching. I can be a tiger teacher but at the same time be very patient, flexible, supporting, and open to listen to my students. I value communication with my students during every lesson, making sure if they are following along. I consistently ask questions to my students about how they feel, their opinions, or what they’re struggling with. Read More
