In 2013, I graduated from Berklee College of Music with a Bachelor of Music degree in songwriting. I have been blessed to have had the opportunity to perform at some of the world's most prestigious concert halls alongside Grammy award recipients on several occasions. I then move on to basic note recognition on paper. This allows them to be able to visually identify when notes are moving up and down and so on. Once they become more comfortable with this method, I move onto memorizing and learning new repertoire. For more advanced students, I really try to hone in on these things while also focusing deeper on their technique. I try to really stay within the student's interests no matter what level, while also giving them things outside of their box to challenge them and help them grow. Read More

I tailor my curriculum to each student based on their learning style, skill level, interests, and goals. If the student is a beginner, we will start with fundamentals. I then create more rewarding lessons as soon as possible, working in the fundamentals in a more enjoyable and musical way.
