I feel that one of the most important aspects of music that is often overlooked, is that music should be fun. Because of this, I try to keep my lessons focused on material that really excites a student. I believe that its very important to introduce a student to a wide variety of music to help them identify what really inspires them. I expect a lot from my students and ask a lot of them, but this is because I believe that students are only truly happy when they can see their progress. When a student is encouraged to get out of their comfort zone, and when they experience their own musicality to its highest potential, I believe that a student will be motivated to continue learning and excelling.
