I am a musician who has already studied in three conservatories and four universities. I have been teaching private lessons for fifteen years and group classes for ten years. I graduated with a Doctor of Musical Arts (D.M.A) in may 2017. From 2013 to 2017, I was teaching theory, group guitar class, private lessons and guitar ensemble at UNLV. According to my experience as a teacher, flexibility and adaptation are two necessary skills in lessons/classes. Read More

Very flexible, friendly, understanding and supportive teacher. I encourage my students to play duets with me and their friends (if applicable) and participate in recitals.I also try to teach them basic music theory unless they object, and help them to understand music, learn more about the history of music, and related matters. Some of my students take Royal Conservatory of Music tests regularly. I try to accommodate my students' interests and needs and always open to new things -say if they want to learn guitar accompaniment toa song they want to sing or solo/ accompaniment for a band. Most of all I enjoy sewing the seed of passion that I received when I began playing my first guitar at the age of 8, and nurturing that which has brought me to love and enjoy the music I experience everyday of my life. I hope that everyone of my students gets out of the each lesson exactly what they came for and more. Whether you are looking for a hobby, trying to reach mastery, or just want to learn a few tunes for a loved one, I want to focus the lesson to your desire. Read More

For beginning students I like to begin with a combination of Hal Leonard's Essential Elements and Suzuki Method books. I find Essential Elements to be useful for learning the fundamentals of playing the instrument and music theory. However, Suzuki offers the ability for students to quickly play solo repertoire. I also incorporate learning and understanding scales for the purpose of learning fingering patterns and intonation. As students progress, I also find Rick Monney's Positions Pieces extremely valuable. Read More

My primary desire for teaching piano is to make a positive impact on children as individuals. In the spring of 2022, I received my Master of Music diploma with a Concentration in Music Education from California Baptist University. I grew up in Veszprém, Hungary, where I started playing the piano at age 7. In 2010 I began her studies at Csermák Antal Music School in Veszprém, where I took lessons from jazz pianist and composer Orsolya Lakatos. Read More

My teaching methods can be defined by a few words patient, fun, and above all, flexible. I believe maintaining great flexibility is the greatest way of making sure a student is not only learning at a great pace, but enjoying their journey as well. As this is the case, I create individual custom lesson plans for every single student I teach. For example, with younger students, I will generally try to make sure they are engaged and having as much fun as possible learning the instrument, this could come in the form of focusing on (at first) popular riffs or songs that the student would know and enjoy learning.
