My voice lessons consist of vocal warm-ups where you learn proper technique and posture, breathing exercises to expand your diaphragm and support when you sing, and Repertoire work where you apply the technique you learned, practice performance skills, and learn diction of English, Italian, German, Hebrew, or French.My guitar and piano lessons start with learning how to read music (if you do not know already) and being familiar with the keys or frets and the notes on the staff. Then we work on pieces of music, paying attention to the key factors of musicianship including rhythm, interpretation, dynamics, composition, musicality, and performance practice. My music theory lessons are based on whatever the student wants to learn or needs instruction on. I teach anywhere from basic music notation to advanced harmonic and formal analysis.All I expect from you is to bring a pencil, a good attitude, and the willingness to practice and work hard in our lessons, and I will supply the rest! I have been teaching for the past 11 years and have had a full studio of 20-25 students during that time. Over the past four summers I have also directed chamber music and fiddle music camps. I specialize in starting very young children on the violin, as young as age 2, although depending on the child starting between ages 3-6 is ideal. It is very important to me to tailer my teaching to each student and their developmental and musical level. I love introducing children to new musical concepts and coming alongside them on this often life-long musical journey. There is unique relationship that forms during private music lessons, one that can have a large impact on the student, and I take that responsibility very seriously. That said, I like to make learning to play the violin as fun and easy as possible without sacrificing fundamental technique. I have had great sucess with various practice stragegies and find my students are highly motivated by these. I encourage performing at a young age and often, along with participating in music festivals and, as they become older, youth orchestras and chamber groups.

I am a 23 year-old drummer influenced by blues, pop, rock, electro pop, jazz, metal, soul and funk music. I began my musical studies at the age of 15 with Professor Jorge Villota (member of the Instrumentos Andinos Orchestra) and subsequently with Diego Miño (Tomback percussion). At the age of 18, I moved to Argentina to continue my studies at EMBA (Escuela de Música de Buenos Aires) and later studied for 3 years at Escuela de Musica UDLA in Ecuador. I completed my last year of college at LACM (Los Angeles College of Music) earning an Associate of Arts degree in Music Performance.
