I am a creative and focused violin instructor specializing in classical to contemporary orchestral music. I graduated from Drexel University in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. I have been playing the violin for almost 20 years, starting from my Kindergarten music lessons all the way to sitting as Concert Master for the Drexel University Symphony Orchestra. Between that, I've had the privilege of performing with the Metropolitan Youth Orchestra, the Gemini Youth Orchestra, New York All-County Orchestra, New York All-State Orchestra and New York Summer School of the Arts. I have been taking voice lessons myself since the age of 15 and have been teaching since 17 when I was involved in a unique experience being mentored by my middle and high school choir directors as I knew I would be going on in Music Education as a college student. After graduating from my Bachelors program I began teaching both private voice and elementary-high school vocal and general music. Piano teachers who teach students of all ages often prefer the Alfred method, as someone in their mid-30s who is playing for a childs book may feel a bit awkward. Read More

For beginners I like to use books and a few easy songs to get the student started. As skill level grows, I try to encourage students to form their own chord progressions as well as using songs that I choose or a song the students chooses that will encourage them to play and learn more songs on their own. I also encourage intermediate level students to explore their imaginations and create their own songs. Read More
Instruments: Piano Voice
It has been a humbling privilege of mine to perform around the world and I have had the opportunity to perform in David Geffen Hall in NYC, Carnegie Hall, Kimmel Center in Philadelphia as well as major venues in Kansas City, Chicago, Ireland, Italy, and Spain. I was a member of the world-renowned Westminster Choir for 2 years during my graduate program and, in 2017, we had the honor of representing the United States at the World Choral Symposium in Barcelona, Spain. Singing is one of the most vulnerable forms of art. I strive to create an environment where the student can communicate and express freely while finding their own voice. I bring a wealth of knowledge and experience into the lessons I teach. I'm a lover of all types of music and have worked with singers of all ages and genres ranging from classical to contemporary. My focus is placed on not just creating great singers, but smart singers who understand what healthy vocal production is. Read More
