I am a motivated, fun-loving musician. I went to Florida Southern College, and I graduated in Spring 2020. I received private lessons in voice and piano. I conducted several large collegiate ensembles, including both Florida Southern college choirs and college orchestras. I have worked in several church choirs, and was a church pianist for a time. I was taking music education classes along with my performance degrees and the combination of the classes made me feel like i could teach lessons in a new and innovative way. A big focus in my curriculum is music theory. Music theory is such an important backbone to learning your instrument. All students will always have at least one piece that they have chosen to work on to keep interest while building skills. For adults I like to use Alfred's Basic Adult All-In-One Course. This has a site that can be accessed at home for extra help and accompaniments to play the songs learned. I add technique to adults to keep the fingers moving such as Hanon and Czerny. Adults usually know what they are interested in learning and I point their instruction towards their personal goals. Read More

I then began teaching Music in the NYC Public School system in 1985 and I also was an Adjunct of Music at Touro College in Brooklyn NY from 2004-2018.
