I like to make my lessons engaging and fun. For students who are beginning their guitar journey, I like to start with the basic fundamentals of guitar, such as teaching them the body of the guitar (head stock, tuning pegs, string names, frets, how to hold and use a pick, etc.). My focus during my collegiate and graduate education has been jazz saxophone, but my early passion for clarinet and flute as well as classical music has carried on throughout my teaching career.
