Every week, I set goals that are individualized for every student. If the goals are not met, we could discuss the situation and adjust accordingly. Scales, arpeggios, etudes and other exercises are an important part of daily practice, reinforced by weekly technique classes. I've been teaching private lessons for approximately 20 years with ages spanning from beginner to Performance Majors in College. In fact I was an adjunct Professor at Snow College in Utah for five years which is a Julliard affiliated program. While there, I was a primary consultant on the development of their Commercial Music Business Degrees.
