I am very passionate about music. I love to teach and pass along what i know so that others can continue to create music for profit and personal enjoyment. I am a very low pressure teacher. If you are not enjoying your time then no one is benefiting from the lessons. I use a marker board, books, a metronome, paper and pencils etc to tech lessons. My methodologies for teaching will vary based on different factors such as age and level of musical knowledge. The number one thing I try and do for my students is make sure they have FUN and ENJOY the process of learning. I do like to use established books that focus on the fundamentals of music such as the Hal Leonard Guitar Method Books. Literature like that is very informative, but also a bit clinical at times, so I always like to find out what my students want to play and tailor lessons towards their specific goals. Read More

I have played in numerous orchestras, even jazz bands. As well as playing alongside the president's very own Marine Quartet in 2013 and 2014. I have had the chance to take master classes from Professor Susanna Klein at Virginia Commonwealth University and to perform side by side with Mark Wood, his wife and son! I also was able to meet and improvise with famous youtube sensation, Eric Stanley. I believe that music is a universal mold and it has a huge impact on our education. Read More

I make sure the student fully understands everything that is expected of them, and will instill a strong sense pride in my students success. I adapt to the students speed and believe genuine encouragement will get the best results out of them at all times. I am well versed of the many piano method books out there for students today. I recommend to my younger students Alfreds Premier Piano Course or Fabers Piano Adventures. For my adult students, I recommend Alfreds All-in-One Adult Piano Course because it offers a coherent approach to a well-rounded music education at the piano.
