My teaching method is entirely student driven. Every student has different goals and different styles of learning. Because of this, the "cookie-cutter" approach many teachers take are ineffective. I take the time during the first lesson to ask the student what their short and long term goals are with their instrument, and from there I can start laying out a lesson plan. As I have more lessons with the student, I can observe their learning style and adjust my teaching approach accordingly. Read More
Instruments: Piano Voice
I enjoy motivating students who enjoy performing and learning the different aspects of music and the music international business. In 2007, I graduated from West Virginia University with a Bachelor of Arts and Science degree along with certification from Berklee School of Music. Performing all over the world has been one of the greater experiences of my life as a musician, and I've had the opportunity to play on the Las Vegas Strip for eight years, as well as touring the world as a solo piano player/singer in five-star hotels. Instruments: Voice
I have experience in vocal coaching, original composition and vocal production. My experience and abilities are to get students and aspiring professionals ready for the world. If you want to go mainstream and prepare for American Idol, X Factor or any other major competition I am the professional to get you there. I have worked with many superstars of today, and I would love to work with the superstars of tomorrow! Read More

For most students, especially beginners, I use a combination of the Berklee materials, including Modern Method for Guitar, as well as my own teachings. I like to get my students to a level at which they can actually make/play music first, using their current favorite genre of music. The sooner they can make sounds on the instrument that resemble something close to "music," the sooner they'll fall in love with the instrument. Read More
Instruments: Violin
I am a classical violinist teaching in the Henderson/Las Vegas area. In 2008, I received my bachelor's in violin performance from the University of Denver in Denver, Colorado, and in 2010, I received my master's in violin performance from Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado. Before moving to Nevada, I performed with various professional orchestras in Colorado and Wyoming, including the Fort Collins Symphony and the Cheyenne Symphony. I love teaching ages 8-adult and work hard to teach each student in the way they learn best rather than sticking to a rigid formula. Read More
Instruments: Violin Viola
As a violin teacher my goal is to see how much each of my students has progressed from the beginning. I have to approach individually to each of them according to their characters, temperament, abilities to learn in order to choose the program for them. I always inspire my students to progress in the world of music, encourage them to learn and practice more. It's a scientific fact, that all the students who practice and play music, they have a better scores in their studies at the school. Read More

Again, as stated above, my approach is based on the proven CAGED system, and stresses mastery of the basics, using the language and concepts of "classical", jazz and blues -in particular. I begin by establishing what students (already) know and don't know about music and their chosen instruments, making connections between pre-existing knowledge and concepts, and "filling in holes" -while teaching these basics. Then, as soon as students are able, we begin applying this knowledge -these concepts- to their preferred musical mediums -in addition to "branching out" to apply basic knowledge/concepts/skills to increasingly more advanced applications.
