Currently, I am a member of the Raider's drum and Bugle Corp's (Burlington, NJ) percussion staff. The raiders are an open class DCI group that competes in the summer against other open class groups. My job duties include running rehearsals, providing weekly assignments to members, and providing individualized critique and information for students. This ensemble meets once a month from November to April then moving to every weekend, and then eventually a 3-4 week long tour over the summer. Read More

For students I ask that you have printed lyrics and instrumentals for our lessons. Microphones can be used in lessons as well. Equipment*** - Large mirror (for practicing in front of)- microphone – sound system to play instrumentals. I specifically love working on stage presence, I feel this area tends to be overlooked. To me the most important thing to establish is a true, personal connection with my students. I like to know what activities other than music they enjoy, what their favorite/least favorite subject is in school, what they want to be when they grow up, what motivates them and what doesn't.
