After picking up an old drum set that was sitting by a curb waiting for trash, we began a regular music jam. What an anomaly to have a father and son bonding over music! We still gratefully play together regularly when I visit. I went to College at Madison Media Institute in Madison, WI and graduated with an Associates degree in Audio Engineering. I am a cellist and recent graduate of the New England Conservatory in Boston. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Music Performance from Virginia Tech, where I developed passions for chamber and contemporary classical music. I brought these interest to Boston, and have performed throughout New England in chamber music series, conductorless ensembles, and orchestras. While studying at NEC, I was also a musical storytelling fellow, and developed multiple programs of original songs and stories to perform at elementary schools and children's venues throughout the city. Berklee has always been a dream of mine. I studied Music Therapy at Berklee College of Music in 2015. I worked with children and adults with developmental disabilities and mental health. I had been an ardent member of the Berklee Indian Ensemble. I worked with various artists such as Vijay Prakash, Raghu Dixit, Indian Ocean and Shreya Ghoshal. I also went on a tour with them once.
