Reading music, playing with appropriate technique, and foot to hand coordination all make up the universe which is percussion. Hanon is the one book that has stayed with me for two decades and I adhere to its various training regimens very closely. I have been teaching voice lessons for almost ten years to students of all ages, skill levels, and preferred genres. Many of my students have been successful on stage, in auditions, competitions, and in gaining acceptance into music schools across the country. My focus is to guide my student in finding their own voice in a healthy way. Every student has a different goal in taking voice lessons.
