For more advanced students and jazz players, I like to start with a warm up, scale study, learn tunes and the blues, big band charts, and end with listening and transcriptions. I attended CSUF for jazz guitar studies. I am very fluent in big band, swing, rock, funk, combo jazz and many other styles. I also have a lot of experience with being in a pit orchestra, playing for musicals. I have a great working knowledge of what it's like to be in a rock band and how to configure pedalboards.
