I emphasize a "classical" approach, especially with younger students to solidify their skills, encouraging intersted students to begin including jazz improvisation into their studies as their skills advance. My teaching experience began at the University of Tulsa. I taught voice to a few students who were non music majors for about a year. After graduating from the University of Tulsa, I began teaching at Brook Fine Arts Academy in Tulsa, Oklahoma. I taught over 30 students a week in both voice and piano (ages 3 to 20) for over a year.
