I began officially teaching music in 2015 with the Salvation Army here in Memphis, Tennessee. I've taught beginner violin and piano lessons with the Salvation Army, and I have a few private violin students of my own currently. As much as I love music, I love explaining concepts and giving my students confidence in their field of music, whether that is in voice, instrument, or writing. I am a determined and driven teacher who loves to share my passion for music with my students. I graduated this spring from Oklahoma City University with my Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance. My music career has given me the opportunity to sing in many different styles including Opera, Jazz, Music Theatre, Pop, Rock, Country, and more. I have had the opportunity to travel across the US performing in many voice competitions, as well as winning a national award for my performances. Read More

I am an avid listener as well as player. I perform as a solo guitarist specializing in Celtic and American acoustic music. I also work as an accompanist on a variety of instrument (mandolin, dulcimer, banjo, guitar) for singer-songwriters. You can catch my band Harper Valley Hypocrites performing locally. Our material cover Dylan to Zevon as well as some great original tunes. I continue to write and arrange pieces for fretted instruments and find great joy in adapting pop and rock classics to instruments that are not normally used for such tunes. Read More
