I believe in only sticking with what the student is comfortable with learning. I will push and stretch them when it is needed, but I like to start by asking "what do you want to learn?" I am a determined and driven teacher who loves to share my passion for music with my students. I graduated this spring from Oklahoma City University with my Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance. My music career has given me the opportunity to sing in many different styles including Opera, Jazz, Music Theatre, Pop, Rock, Country, and more. I have had the opportunity to travel across the US performing in many voice competitions, as well as winning a national award for my performances. Read More

I am an avid listener as well as player. I perform as a solo guitarist specializing in Celtic and American acoustic music. I also work as an accompanist on a variety of instrument (mandolin, dulcimer, banjo, guitar) for singer-songwriters. You can catch my band Harper Valley Hypocrites performing locally. Our material cover Dylan to Zevon as well as some great original tunes. I continue to write and arrange pieces for fretted instruments and find great joy in adapting pop and rock classics to instruments that are not normally used for such tunes. Read More
