My teaching style is very simple. We will begin by finding the interests of the student. Then we’ll identify what they like about the instrument and their basic knowledge. Once that is done, we’ll begin experimenting with different generes. And finally, we’ll create a plan that will allow them the chance to grow musically and fundamentally on the drums. Listening! I want to hear from the student why they're excited to play the instrument, in my case learn how to sing or play guitar. Every person and thus every student will be different. Some people find certain things easier or harder than others, so even if say I were teaching say two students of the same ability or progress level I wouldn't just give them excercises out of a book I'd customize the lessons so they could develop and build upon their currentskill level. I began my musical journey since before grade school, learning piano and other percussive instruments. I immediately took a strong liking towards music and followed it through all my years in school, learning brass instruments and refining my practices along the way. in 2018, I graduated from Berklee College of Music with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Performance. Along with over 4 years of teaching, I've had the experience of touring and performing in various venues around the country and across multiple genres, such as performing with orchestras in Boston Symphony Hall, as well as performing with popular reggae artists in Los Angeles venues.
