Overview:
As a lover of multiple genres of music, I aim to improve technique, versatility, and musicianship with my teaching. I recently graduated Cum Laude from the Berklee College of Music with a Bachelor of Music in Music Business. During my time in school, I performed throughout the Boston area at venues such as the Middle East and the Berklee Performance Center. After graduating, I was able to tour through parts of New England and perform at venues ranging from small night clubs to large festivals, including the Mud Run Rock Gods Tribute Festival in Howland, Maine. Ranging from Rock, Blues, Jazz, Pop, Funk, Punk, Video Game music, and more, I always love to challenge myself to be the best musician I can be.
EXPERIENCE
I started my private instruction practice during my high school years, where I would teach friends and students from my school. Through my musical career, I have taught students from age 6 to age 65. For me, each student presents a new challenge to find when it comes to what he/she wants to learn. Each student also has different approaches to learning. I do my best to cater to each student's needs so he/she can gain an excellent understanding of musical, theoretical, and technical concepts that will help them improve their playing.
METHODS USED
With beginning students, I will start with the basics and encourage them to buy A Modern Method for Guitar by William Leavitt. Starting out, students will work on chords and scales. We will also work on building a repetoire of songs for the student to work on perform. Intermediate students will work on the fundamentals of theory, triads, beginner 7th chords, and improvasation. Advanced students will work on expanding their knowledge of theory, inversions, technique building, chord tensions and substitution. All students will learn to read both standard notation and guitar tablature.
LESSON STYLE
Each student learns at their own pace. Though I do have a consistent method for teaching, I first like to see what a student's level of playing and understanding of music is before we move forward so I can see where the student needs improvement. Although we will work on fundamentals, I work with students so that my lessons can be fun, educational, inspiring, and suited for each student's needs. Any concepts we work on will translate into more advanced concepts that can be practically approached for months or even years to come, whether that be through my lessons or through the students own discoveries.

Select all the days/times the student would be available to start lessons. Selecting "3pm - 7pm" means the student can start as early as 3pm or start as late as 7pm. It is important that you select as many days and the widest window of start times for each day as possible. That will help us make a match with one of our teachers.
