I have a lot of passion for voice and I want my students to progress. In my own journey, it's taken years of daily practice to see real results and change. I push my students to practice daily for at least an hour and I give specific vocalizations that will help strengthen particular weaknesses in each voice. I have material from all the masters of Classical Guitar as well as my book that I use in addition to all the other fantastic methods out there. I have been actively teaching for the past 10 years. I have worked with students of all levels and ages, from beginners to college student level of multiple nationalities. I have taught at the prep departments of Lynn University, Palm Beach Atlantic University and North Broward Prep School. I then joined the international singing group, The Four Aces, where I became their musical director, bass singer and trumpet soloist for 42 years, before retiring last year. I have played first trumpet with the American Legion Symphonic Band for 10 yrs., the Symphonic Band of the Palm Beaches and South Florida Pride Wind Ensemble, plus playing lead trumpet in several big bands in South Florida. I like to balance structure with fun! This balance is very important when teaching any student a new instrument. Too much discipline and not enough fun and creativity could result in the student feeling stressed out or unmotivated.
