This book has been the standard for decades and continues to help players find the foundation for their playing. As the student progresses we will start to add appropriate pieces for them to learn and perform. Electric players and Upright players can start choosing songs or pieces they want to learn. I believe that every student is unique, they develop at a different pace and different levels, have different ideas and pursue different goals. By working with a broad selection of methods I can better address the different needs and challenges of every student and provide them with an individual program to help them reach their goals faster. I have also noticed that by mixing different methodical systems I can attain the students attention and keep them interested in practicing as opposing to only using one method, which sometimes becomes tiresome for the students and they get complacent.
